Candle Care Guide
To help you get the longest, cleanest, and safest burn from your candles, we’ve put together this simple Candle Care Guide. Following these steps will improve fragrance throw, prevent tunneling, and extend the life of your candle.

Trim the Wick
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting your candle — every single time.
Benefits of wick trimming:
- Reduces soot and smoke
- Helps the candle burn evenly
- Prevents the flame from getting too large
- Extends candle life

Burn Time
For safety and candle health:
- Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time
- Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting
- Stop using the candle when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom
This prevents overheating the jar.

Keep Candles Away From Drafts
Drafts from fans, vents, or open windows can cause the flame to flicker, leading to: uneven burns, soot buildup, reduced scent throw
Place your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface.

Reusing Your Candle Jar
Once the candle is finished:
- Place the jar in the freezer for a few hours.
- Pop out leftover wax and wick tabs.
- Wash with warm, soapy water.
- Reuse as storage, décor, or a planter!
